An automatic music stand that moves sheet music through rollers and pedals, with intelligent music-recognition functions.
Automatic Music Stand helps musicians who cannot use their hands to turn pages. Sheet music is inserted into a transparent A4 sleeve belt that moves between two rollers.
A geared DC motor and toothed belt provide smooth reversible motion, while pedals control direction and limit switches protect the mechanism.
An ESP32 manages the system. Experimental software can recognise musical notes and advance the score by following the melody.
The gallery also documents the construction process, including the motor drive, 12 V to 3.3 V DC-DC converter, 3D-printed pedal board and PETG roller, gear and bearing couplings.
Tight tolerances and precise fittings improve strength, smooth motion transmission and noise reduction.
