3D-printed drum
An experimental musical instrument with a PLA shell and natural membrane, designed and printed in a large format.
Who said musical instruments cannot be 3D printed? We created a drum with a PLA shell and a treated sheepskin membrane, assembled with nuts and bolts.
The project put our Bambu Lab A1 to the test by requiring components more than 20 centimetres in diameter.
